In a Barbie World: CFDA Awards will honored Barbie this year

Barbie has always represented the fashion dreams of millions of people around the world and this year, on her 60th birthday – even if it does not look like it – she will be honored at the CFDA Awards on June 3.
Throughout all these years, the doll has collaborated with several big names in the fashion world such as Oscar de La Renta, Moschino, Zac Posen, Vera Wang and others and has also been modifying itself to better adapt to the transformations of the world that evolves to fit the new patterns that exist every day, although under great criticism from feminist groups, which point to it as a pattern of unreal beauty.
Anyway, the doll that lives in the popular imagery and symbol of a lifestyle will be in companies like Michelle Obama – last year’s honoree – and nothing is fairer than leaving a gallery with images of Barbie representations in the world of fashion. Life in plastic, it’s fantastic.
